Description

This document confirms that John Kenneth Hughes, while employed on Military Service, was allowed to drive any vehicle when on Government duty. During the Second World War John Kenneth Hughes trained as a radio signaller for the 2nd Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry regiment. Kenneth took part in the Battle at Hamminkeln and also in the D-Day capture of Pegasus Bridge on the night of 6 June 1944.
