An article in the South Wales Evening Post, published following the publication of Alan Wilson's book, 'No Hero, I', which relates Alan's experiences of the Second World War. Alan Wilson joined the T.A., Royal Field Artillery, in 1939. He went on to become a despatch rider, and was sent into Bergen-Belsen shortly after it's liberation, to help with cleaning up the former concentration camp. A talented and prolific artist, Alan made many drawings and cartoons of the people and places he encountered during the Second World War, many of which are reproduced here. He has written a book describing his wartime experiences, entitled 'No Hero I'.
