Description
Eileen Morris Joined the ATS in 1944, trained in Guildford, and at one point undertook traffic control duties in Oswestry. She volunteered for service overseas, was sent to Germany once hostilities had ended, and was billeted in a German apartment block, which she and her friends nicknamed 'Quality Inn'. Exploring in the attic she found several items which had obviously belonged to a German serviceman, and she brought them home as souvenirs.
