Description

The field service postcard was filled by R. T. Jones of Denbigh. He was allowed to write the address, sign and date the postcard. Nothing else was to be written other than erase sentences that were not required. 'If anything else were added the postcard would be destroyed'. Robert Thomas Jones of Denbigh was 18 years old when he joined the Royal Welch Fusiliers in 1936. He trained at Lichfield Barracks, South of England.
