Description

This air raid precaution bell was found by Eunice Davies in the basement of 20 Pier Street in Aberystwyth some time after the war. A piece of paper with the words 'Fiddian JB 39' were found attached to the bell. The word Fiddian is also engraved on the bell. Eunice Davies was a young girl during the war years who had been adopted due to unfortunate circumstances by a lady called Sarah Elizabeth Davies.
