Description

This photograph shows the wedding of the happy couple who only experienced 8 months of marriage together. Robert Miller was lost at sea after his ship and crew had been bombed by enemy action on the 18 March 1943. This was the experience of many couples who had married shortly before or during the war. Robert David Miller served as a captain in the Merchant Navy during the Second World War.
