Description

These newspaper clippings were kept by the families of Hywel Tudor Thomas and Captain Robert Miller. They describe the tragic events of the deaths of both men at sea by enemy action. The two men men were killed at different times and in different places. Captain Robert Miller and Captain Hywel Tudor Thomas were both sea captains in the Merchant Navy during the Second World War. They both came from Penybont, Radnorshire and were cousins.
