Description

This is a photocopy of a photograph showing the complete destruction of Liverpool Harbour. The S.S. Malakand which was heavily loaded with ammunition was bombed in the harbour. This had a devastating effect on the surrounding area in which many were killed and wounded. Donald Parker was an evacuee to Aberystwyth from Liverpool during the Second World War.
