Description

Walter Powell was a volunteer in the Auxiliary Fire Brigade in Llandrindod Wells during the Second World War. He appears second from the left in the large photograph. The two smaller photographs are of a parade held in Llandrindod Wells in 1938. In this photo Walter Powell appears as well as his daughter's father-in-law, Jack Edwards. They are both are wearing Trilby hats. Walter has an ' X 'above his head in both of the smaller pictures.
