Description

Walter Powell was a volunteer in the Auxiliary Fire Brigade in Llandrindod Wells during the Second World War. In this photograph Walter Powell is standing second from the left. The Captain of the Auxiliary Fire Brigade is present, fifth from the left in the same row. The Captain was also the Town Surveyor and so had a thorough knowledge of the area.
